Cats, Sprinklers & Rocking Chairs

If I’ve learned anything from my experience, it’s this...

Project Management is basically:

  • 10% Strategist
  • 10% Therapist
  • 10% Educator
  • 10% Translator
  • 60% PROFESSIONAL CAT WRANGLER

… and those cats? Let’s just say they’re in a room full of rocking chairs and sprinklers that go off without warning.

Not only are you managing internal bandwidth, shifting timelines, and juggling about 47 moving parts at once… You’re also balancing client expectations while tactfully navigating the same sentence that makes every Project Manager slowly lose their mind to the point of ending up on the next Investigation ID series over and over and OVER again.

“Should be pretty simple, right?”

It’s definitely a lot to handle, and somehow YOU have to make it all feel effortless!

But when everything clicks into place and the project ends on a positive note, there’s always that little feeling of accomplishment that makes it all worthwhile. (Cat wrangling and all.)
